"I was travelling by the Great Western Arms, with my son, when our car was crippled by a puncture; we had to wait for the RAC and, subsequently, a tow truck and waited the the Pub car park for some time. Well before the pub officially opened, members of staff invited us inside so that we could keep warm. They provided coffee and orange juice free of charge and allowed us to sit in front of their fire. Once the pub was open we ordered food, but just as the food was ready, the tow truck arrived. The staffed kindly boxed up the food so we could take it with us. We both agreed that the food was lovely and nourishing. Before the tow truck arrived we also managed to order drinks; the selection was excellent. The pub is in an ideal location when travelling across the south midlands.
