Nice meal was outside. This pub has happened so often on trips. It was good to finally stop. Food well presented. A pleasant experience. They want to return

A beautiful, picturesque English pub serving exceptional food with a cosy and welcoming feel. The menu was varied and everything sounded delicious, great beer choices, and the staff were lovely everything you could ask for from a pub. Great find, will be back soon!

Simple PERFECT: Beautiful, cozy atmosphere in the interior, solid beer garden (covered and uncovered seats), good choice of fresh, homemade and delicious food at reasonable prices; ample parking; and friendly service staff, what else is to be desired?! Perfect place for a perfect night trip. Thank you.

Excellent food had three courses shared the first and last course. The vegetables are cooked just we like them. Had a non alcoholic gin as the named driver this was a bonus. Complements to the chef so naughty but nice. Daniel bless him it was his first shift he asked the right questions and put us both at ease.

Came here for my dad's birthday meal as he used to go years ago and said the food was very good. He wasn't wrong, everyone enjoyed their meals and the food really was tasty. I had the lamb shanks which I could highly recommend. The atmosphere was laid back and the staff were friendly. The pub decor is beautiful, definitely recommend anyone who's passing by to pop in and have a meal

Very nice place for dinner. Somehow, the online table booking system sent the wrong time to the restaurant. Nonetheless, we got seated immediately after showing the email confirmation we received. The chocolate tart with sorbet was delicious. While we're there, the burgers look amazing. We're going back to try the burgers. Oh yeah, very extensive kids menu. The girls enjoyed the meals.

The decor and the atmosphere is very pleasant indeed, proper traditional country pub. Decent sized parking with overspill males leave the car free. The staff is friendly and welcoming, decent bar area with extensive indoor and outdoor seats. Beautiful choices on the menu I could have chosen happily most of the offers at the end of the choice of buttermilk chicken burger. Wifi available, decent Gin list when you are in your gin, a large pub that needs to be visited easily. Based on my experience, I think you're crazy not to taste the food or at least have a drink.

Wow! What an absolute treasure! We went here from Cumnor, but for those who are connected to public transport, the S6 and S9 buses between Oxford and Swindon and Wantage stop right ahead. The place has a beautiful garden and a terrace area, with table service on the terrace of beautiful staff. The food was really good, especially the cheese board and the crispy squid (krispy squid always a mixed bag in the pubs). The bar had a wide selection of beers on ****, as well as (oh my God) 6 ales on the hand pump, with another six coming soon. All beers were in excellent form. The pub is also an architectural pleasure. I just can't recommend this place enough!

We visited The Greyhound as part of a party of eight. It was a beautiful sunny day and we started by having drinks in the very well presented garden to the right of the main building. The window boxes were amazing, overflowing with the most beautiful, large pansies. We were seated inside for our meal, around a sizeable round table, which was great as we didn't have the usual problem of peering round someone to see or talk to another person. The menus were very good, with plenty of choice, even for the most discerning. You will see I mention menus, plural, as they have a completely separate menu for gluten free.
