This is a fantastic spot for lunch! I really enjoyed my main course, and while the dessert was tasty, I feel it’s more suited for homemade options. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I would definitely come back. The staff were also wonderful!

This is a charming pub with friendly staff and delightful food. However, the chef needs to work on cooking the eggs properly; both of mine were hard when I ordered ham and eggs. It's all about timing, or perhaps not keeping them under a heat lamp for too long. Unfortunately, that cost them a star in my rating. Aside from that, I had a lovely visit and highly recommend the fish and chips!

we had an excellent lunch with our daughter enkelkind there is a beautiful atmosphere in the area with lots of space and a very good selection of meals for adults and children. the host are very welcoming and have tested our requirements for the meal size etc. for example, my wife chose the mackeral/ fish cakes and it was immediately pointed out that a few previous guests had found the portions small, this was an surprise, as the part was more than sufficient and the quality of the plate was very good. the love for detail has been appreciated. we will definitely return to the lansdowne arms.

Had a meal here thinking it would still be the same great food but unfortunately they changed hands and managed by new people.The food wasn't very nice. There wasn't much portions for the value of your money. It felt like you are just paying for an empty plate Sat on a cold table.We used to like coming here a lot but we will not be returning any more witch is very sad.
