"Had a meal here thinking it would still be the same great food but unfortunately they changed hands and managed by new people.The food wasn't very nice. There wasn't much portions for the value of your money. It felt like you are just paying for an empty plate Sat on a cold table.We used to like coming here a lot but we will not be returning any more witch is very sad. We will go elsewhere for our meals and get good value for are money and tasty food What is wrong with the (Lansdown Arms) Don't get value for money in the food. Some items was not available on the menu. Overpriced. Portions of food not enough off."

This is a fantastic spot for lunch! I really enjoyed my main course, and while the dessert was tasty, I feel it’s more suited for homemade options. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I would definitely come back. The staff were also wonderful!

This place is absolutely stunning! The staff are lovely and extremely welcoming, and the food was delicious. There's parking right in front, next to the beautiful Bowood. We even got to see the Christmas tree being set up outside. We all had such a wonderful time that we didn’t want to leave. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5.

Excellent Sunday roast. Came here for Dads birthday lunch and had a lovely time. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and tasty food. Good menu choices and quick service in a relaxed and traditional setting. Ample parking and outdoor seating. Popular with walkers and dog friendly.
