The Muddler - Menu

Went here for a birthday meal mid week. Surprisingly busy when we arrived. Seated straight away and then proceeded to have amazing fresh sushi. I mentioned when booking we were there for a birthday and got a complimentary Prosecco and dessert

the decor is impressive and the atmosphere is cool. it is well located on the greys road with many bars near. it is a beautiful place to impress a date when they like fresh and uplifted pan Asian food. service was good and the cocktails were also great.

the muddler is a nice, trendy place, good selection of food and drinks. we went for the chicken pad thai, with duckling early rolls and tempoura garnel that we between 2. it was all delicious! the cocktails are really nice, try the blueberry the service was a little slow, therefore no 5 stars, but it was still a really good experience.

Late afternoon visit, restaurant not busy at all, shown straight to our table. Staff were pleasant and efficient, no complaints at all. Wine prices reasonable, we had a bottle of red which was fine. Ordered a couple of large plates, Thai Green Curry which was decent, and the Pork with Rice which was overwhelmed with soy sauce from the kitchen and spoiled the dish. Overall nice experience, however we would not return.

delicious eating with my sister in law. the sushi, Bao-beunge and calamari were all delicious. I would go so far that sushi was the best I ever had. for the main was the teriyaki huhn on place, but the prawn pad thai was too salty and too spicy, and I thought there would have been more garnel given the price. but overall we really enjoyed our meal and the service was great. we will definitely be back. 4 stars because of the pad thai only.

The photos are the sea bass and pork belly. A £24 meal but definately worth every penny. All i have to say is i kept choking on something in the fish. At first it felt like bones, but it was some kind of hard stringy herb. I had to eat very carefully as to not choke which i think is dangerous, but I didn 't complain as i was with friends and didnt want to be 'that person '. But the flavour was on point and overall i did enjoy the meal. Its a small cosy restaurant in an easy to find location and I will definately come here again.

I would definitely recommend visiting this place. it was amazing and great service. crispy squid was amazing. I also had crispy boar, which could have been crispy, but still very nice and wasabi prawns. kimchi wasn't what I expected, but I never had, so they don't really know if it was good or not. beautiful selection of drinks also. I want to go back to pad thai. the price is not the cheapest, but still worth money. if they get small dishes of recommended, get 3. they make a special before 5 watches what I would say is a great value for money.

I had heard some good things about the muddler (and some mixed reviews) but it had been somewhere I had wanted to try for a while. We were a booking of over 6 which meant they wanted pre orders and we could only order from the set menus (which were very limited). And from sitting down the food did take a while which I thought was a bit odd since we had already ordered everything. The edamame peas were quite nice but then the serving came out and the portions were very small for the price, the food was warm at best (as if it had been sitting for a while before being sent out) and the fried rice as a side came out quite late Vs the rest of the meal. We booked a table for a friend's birthday. We arrived on time and had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. We understood that restaurant was busy but the attitude of the bar staff was appalling. They were disinterested and more concerned with table bookings and time slots rather than taking care of their customers in front of their eyes. After 10 minutes of trying to make eye contact and get one of the staffs attention, she looked at me and spoke to me like I was an inconvenience.
