Tour done with 3 couples, this was our last hotel before we went back to the boat. Hotel room was fine just like dinner and breakfast, had many beautiful views on the way there. Would have liked to stay a day longer to better discover the area. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 4

We stayed overnight in the parking lot with our motorhome and felt very welcomed. We enjoyed an evening meal at the pub, and the food and drinks were outstanding. They are dog-friendly, which is a big plus. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a pub to stop at for food. The staff were exceptional. Our group of four adults and one child dined here last night, and we had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. Each of us ordered different dishes, and everything was tasty and freshly cooked, with perfectly prepared vegetables and generous portions. The chocolate cheesecake, enormous meringue, and ice cream were all exquisite. The young staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant!

A nice friendly county pub that can get busy at times. The location is good and there is a decent car park. Food drinks: We visited some friends in the village and decided (late Sunday afternoon) to visit the Oakwheel for some food. The table was good and the service was also good. We all enjoyed our food with one exception. I had a roast pork dinner which was very nice except for the Jus which was very salty and stopped me from finishing my meal. That aside, we all agreed we would return at some stage in the future to try more of the menu.

I spent a few days here for my brother's birthday celebrations. I was born and raised in this village but left when I was 14 and have not lived there since. This pub has undergone significant changes over the years, all of which have been for the better. It's much larger now, featuring a beautiful bar and lounge, as well as cozy open fireplaces. The food offers excellent value for money, particularly the breakfast. The staff is exceptional—always smart, polite, and very helpful. The rooms, while limited in size due to the age of this part of the building, are reasonably priced. Just a few miles in every direction, you'll find premier East Coast resorts, stunning walks in the North York Moors... Visualizza piatti
