we've been coming here for years and it's always so solid. we are a few other chineses in the opposite attempts and always come to this. so a beautiful service also. always welcome. a few of my personal steh dishes are: king prawn with basil chilli. chicken and/or sea fruit salad shells, calamari with sea salt. and everything else gets one.

eating in the peking inn, cookham is quite easy, absolutely superb! this place is really the best Chinese restaurant we were and we look forward to our next visit! the owners, pam john, know how to take care of their guests and cannot do enough to ensure that they experience a really wonderful special meal. Food as recommended by the team was very good. Would have preferred the Chicken in simbal sauce with a bit more gravy. It was too dry to go with rice. The veg chow mein noodles and veg in black bean sauce was excellent. As the lady recommended, will get a spicier version next time Vegetarian options: They said they can make any dish in veg option. I think I have found my favourite Chinese Restaurant! As a vegetarian the choices were substantial and the flavours amazing. I did not leave feeling poorly and proof was in the pudding when i finished all the plates! Will defo keep returning if the service, quality of food and atmosphere remains the same! Where to start, as we walked in my 3 year old decided he wanted to touch a dining chair, as he did he was shouted at by one of the staff, who then went on to also having a pop at us, As we sat down he then came over again and basically asked us to leave, I think because our kids were “cramping their style” We decided to stay, as we were hungry and it was getting late, however THE FOOD DID NOT IMPRESS.
