"What a gem of a place, waterfront position with a great informal atmosphere. Extremely hardworking staff who were welcoming, friendly attentive. The food was exceptional: fresh locally sourced ingredients; superbly presented, with a menu for a range of tastes and pockets. The fact that it was so full, on both occasions we visited, speaks for itself. Obviously a firm favourite with both locals and visitors deservedly so. This place punches well above its weight!"

We were served very quickly and were allowed to sit directly by the water and enjoy. The food was very tasty, the staff were very attentive and friendly. A very relaxing stay. I had a fantastic lunch at this restaurant, starting with a haggis and cheese toastie and ending with a delicious cake. The menu had a great selection, especially the variety of amazing cakes. The location had a lovely atmosphere and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a great dining experience for lunch, with prices ranging from £1 to £10 per person.

We were asked to leave with our small dog, which was disappointing as this was the only coffee shop in the area that didn't allow dogs inside. Despite there being a covered area outside dedicated for customers with dogs, it was raining outside and the tables were wet. We arrived at around 3:15 PM and felt like the staff no longer wanted to serve us. Service was rated 1 out of 5.
