"We went on a Sunday afternoon for my son's birthday meal, our first visit. Massively busy to the extent it felt a bit like a canteen; our table was right next to the carvery, so we had people queuing right next to us. Whilst we were letting our main course go down before dessert, we were then asked if we'd mind moving tables so that they could accommodate a large party. Also, only a small bar area, whilst waiting for our table, I went to get a drink, but they wanted a table number before they'd serve me. An expensive £25 for two courses; 6 people, 1 drink each (4 cokes, 1 orange juice and 1 pint of lager), came to £173. Average food, too. Table for four. Completely brilliant. Proffesional in every way. Could not do enough for us. Food exemplary. You expect to get what you pay for and we had it in bucketloads....and as for the Raspberry..reminds me of holidays in south of France.... but I digress. The food is such good quality for the price that we spent the drive home considering if we’d time travelled to a better economy. The food was hot and well cooked and the dessert selection is exceptional! Every other restaurant is ruined, how can we ever justify anything less than three courses for £12. Small knit pick in that the tables were a bit low so I couldn’t cross my legs when I sat down. Otherwise pretty amazing! Service: Dine in
