Just moved to Livingston from England and went for a meal last night, Lovely and clean pub, nice friendly staff and great food Will definitely be coming back

for dinner for my birthday and cannot praise the waitress oana enough! so friendly and helpful. she was very patient with my little child and made the whole experience stress-free and pleasant! thank you.

had a good experience on the saltire for the vatertag. Eating was great, cocktails were good and the waitress blessed she was beaten all night by her feet away, but still managed to negate all the needs at the highest speed.

the staff was really friendly, eating was nice. there was a problem in the kitchen so before the order warned of a delay, we decided to stay independent and it was worth waiting. great service, beautiful atmosphere. nothing was too much annoyed x

The atmosphere is amazing and the whole team of staff are incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to help when needed Amy K was very welcoming and took care of us. We had our wedding function there and the price was amazing cannot fault it! The food is well presented and served quickly would definitely recommend.

Had a delicious 10yr anniversary dinner last night. We had our wedding reception there. We come from north Carolina to see family. Was great to go back there on the anniversary. The food was outstanding. The staff were real nice eager to please. They gave my husband and I a beautiful bunch of flowers and a card. Made our night. Thanks Saltire staff

lawrence is one of the best bar offers I have come, always service with a smile and a quick talk, so this like our locals. if he runs smoothly on the bar/restaurant and never wait long. the rest of the team is brilliant and ensures that everyone has a good time. I always come back because of lawrence and the team. cordial and super friendly with a great selection of drinks and amazing food! what more could you ask?

Not too often I leave a review when I go places but this one was definitely well earned. First of all I want to commend the servers, I was served by a lass called Amy K and was left wanting for nothing. On top of the service the food was really good, normally when you're out on a Saturday the food at some places can let the standards slip, however here I got my food quickly and it was hot and delicious. Too top it all off the atmosphere here was enjoyable and perfect for a chill weekend out, will definitely be going again.

We had a fantastic experience at The Saltire today for a birthday lunch with a group of four. The food was delicious as usual and the staff were outstanding, ensuring that the birthday celebrant had a wonderful time. They went out of their way to bring out the birthday cake, sing happy birthday, and take photos of the group, which were all thoughtful gestures. To top it off, they also gave the birthday boy a complimentary mocktail to end the afternoon on a high note. Thank you to everyone at The Saltire for their exceptional service - we will definitely be returning soon.
