Enjoyed a lovely meal on New Year’s Eve which was complemented by the friendly, attentive service of the waitress. A great start to the New Year.

Lovely old pub on banks of Thames at Pangbourne. Views across river, nice terrace when weather is good. Friendly staff, simple, but well cooked food. Not cheap, but paying for location. Car parking a squeeze, great for watching the comings and goings on the river. Visualizza piatti

Great riverside location. Only had fish and chips so can't comment too much on the food suffice to say it was decent. Unlike some of the other reviews, from bar staff to the waitresses the service was great. Once sat down outside with initial drinks, we were waited on promptly and food arrived quickly despite being busy.

What a beautiful location with fantastic vegan options on the menu! The vegan fish and chips were delicious, though I would prefer firmer tofu instead of the silky texture. The tofu was almost liquid inside the deep-fried batter. I would definitely recommend this pub. The table service added to a very relaxed and enjoyable couple of hours.

I can't express my gratitude enough to the staff and chef for making my dad's 80th birthday meal so wonderful. From the moment we arrived, everyone was attentive and extremely helpful. The food was delicious and served hot, and our waitress, Ele, was more than willing to bring us extra gravy, custard, and more. Found the venue by mistake whilst having a leisurely drive in the country and were pleasantly surprised. We had a very warm welcome from the manager and staff. They were very accommodating as we had our fur baby with us and she was spoilt with treats and “cat infused water” the menu had a good variety and the portions were large. We had a superb lunch, compliments to the Chef. The location is beautiful with a large patio area overlooking the river and we look forward to returning soon

We were in the area for the Easter Weekend and had heard of the Swan so decided to visit. It has an idyllic location on the Thames with a large terrace (nice for the summer months). The inside lives up to its 17th heritage with traditional oak beams and three open fires to keep you warm and cosy. We ate there on the Saturday night and Sunday lunch. Both meals very nice, especially the Sunday roast, cooked to perfection and the gravy was delicious. Service very good and friendly staff. It has a nice bar area with a good ale selection. If you mange to get a table overlooking the river, it adds to the whole dining experience, as we did. Highly recommended.

This charming restaurant was the ideal spot for a 3-course lunch with my beloved husband as we celebrated our 31st anniversary on December 27, 2017. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
