Great pub in a very pretty location by the river. Food was excellent and we were looked after so well by the lovely Hubert. Would def recommend!

Enjoyed a lovely meal on New Year’s Eve which was complemented by the friendly, attentive service of the waitress. A great start to the New Year.

fantastic setting coupled with very helpful and accommodating employees. for a drink at the river, sporn of the moment brunch or a famous meal, have always found the fascin to be a great place.

Lovely old pub on banks of Thames at Pangbourne. Views across river, nice terrace when weather is good. Friendly staff, simple, but well cooked food. Not cheap, but paying for location. Car parking a squeeze, great for watching the comings and goings on the river.

Great riverside location. Only had fish and chips so can't comment too much on the food suffice to say it was decent. Unlike some of the other reviews, from bar staff to the waitresses the service was great. Once sat down outside with initial drinks, we were waited on promptly and food arrived quickly despite being busy.

A local gem. Beautiful Sunday roast and friendly service. Thank you for a lovely afternoon. Dietary restrictions: The Sunday roast is made as gluten free by default. The roast potatoes, the gravy, the greens, and the delicious meat, except for the Yorkshire pudding which is totally acceptable. Well done for the effort it was excellent. Found the venue by mistake whilst having a leisurely drive in the country and were pleasantly surprised. We had a very warm welcome from the manager and staff. They were very accommodating as we had our fur baby with us and she was spoilt with treats and “cat infused water” the menu had a good variety and the portions were large. We had a superb lunch, compliments to the Chef. The location is beautiful with a large patio area overlooking the river and we look forward to returning soon

We were in the area for the Easter Weekend and had heard of the Swan so decided to visit. It has an idyllic location on the Thames with a large terrace (nice for the summer months). The inside lives up to its 17th heritage with traditional oak beams and three open fires to keep you warm and cosy. We ate there on the Saturday night and Sunday lunch. Both meals very nice, especially the Sunday roast, cooked to perfection and the gravy was delicious. Service very good and friendly staff. It has a nice bar area with a good ale selection. If you mange to get a table overlooking the river, it adds to the whole dining experience, as we did. Highly recommended.
