Absolutely beautiful setting food. Our server Ian made the experience for us can honestly say he was the most professional, kind waiter he is an absolute credit to this restaurant thank you kindness goes such a long way

A brilliant place, Mike and his team are doing a fantastic job and the atmosphere and food was amazing the view from the suit we stayed in was fantastic and all the staff couldn't do enough for you, and they even look after our four legged friends. We will definitely be staying again, thanks for a fantastic time

I had a fantastic time at the restaurant for Christmas lunch in 2023. The food was outstanding, the service was prompt, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. The atmosphere was charming, with a Christmas tree and a warm fireplace right by our table. It was a perfect way to celebrate Christmas Day, with lovely touches on the tables. We stayed in Tal Y Cafn for 3 nights, they had some issues with heating and therefore upgraded us and really looked after us. The issue was not their fault and they went above and beyond to look after us. The food was amazing, we had a burger and lamb hot pot which were lovely. Breakfast was really really good every morning with fresh high quality ingredients. The hot tub was really good too. Very comfy bed too!

My experience at this restaurant for Sunday roast lunch was disappointing. The atmosphere was clean and tidy, and the staff was polite but not overly friendly. Our meal arrived quickly, maybe too quickly, and it was warm but not hot. The roast potatoes were difficult to cut, and when we asked for a new plate, they were still inedible. Unfortunately, we ended up leaving most of our meal uneaten, and it was not worth the cost.

We stayed overnight in the beautiful Snowden Suite, and were met on arrival with a bottle of Prosecco on Ice and a chocolate each, what a lovely touch. After a lovely afternoon walk in the surrounding area we headed back to a very warm welcome and dinner in front of the log burner. The Mussels were delicious as was the Fish Burger, alongside the Sweet Potato with Goats Cheese Salad which was incredibly tasty. Top notch. Highly recommend a stay here. My advice would be to stay home and save your money. Booked a table for 7.30 at 7.45 we were still standing at the door waiting to be seated had to ask the manager and he said he would send someone. We waited 45 mins to get served and had to go to the bar to ask what the hold up was. Food was awful and vastly overpriced. Ladies toilets were filthy. Manager apologised and said they were understaffed not a good enough excuse when they take your money for such a diabolical service and horrible food. Never again

Once again we came to stay over in the Snowdon Suite on Thursday 16th until the 17th. A good walk calling into a couple of pubs and back for evening dinner which we had mussels watermelon salad followed by TYC Chicken strip fish burger. Stunning food sat in front of the open fire with a bottle of Pinot Noir red! Fabulous service as always and we retreated back to the snowdon suite for a good restful nights sleep before we tackled walking up snowdon. That’s is after we had a good hearty breakfast. Thanks again for a memorable birthday. 10/10

Booked a table for 6.15 was seated straight away, stunning restaurant area. our table was close to the door, so kept our jackets on as it was cold) When the food arrived it all looked beautiful, my youngest daughter had from the children's menu which was garlic bread with cheese and ham, egg and chips, she said it was so nice but the chips were chewy, so she left them but was full and happy with the rest of her meal. My eldest daughter had chicken goujions with fries and best gravy she has ever tasted !! Also had garlic bread, she said, she might of found her new favourite place to eat. Then it came to my meal, how disappointing, I ordered a fillet steak which was meant be service with chips... Visualizza piatti
