"I went to this restaurant with a group of friends for a meal. We ordered sea bass, which was served with potatoes and salad. Unfortunately, the potatoes were inedible because they were rock hard. My husband, who ordered steak, also tried to cut them with his steak knife but couldn't make any progress. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, the cook replied, “I am doing my best!” While I understand that mistakes happen, when I raised the issue with the manager, she simply acknowledged the problem and said they would file a complaint. But who are they complaining to—the farmer? It seemed they didn’t realize the potatoes were undercooked. There was no apology or offer of a discount provided. As someone with Type 1 Diabetes, I needed to eat, but overall, the experience was very unprofessional and left a good meal ruined."

We went for a late lunch in Saturday 07th October. Very busy due to the sun being out but easy enough to get an outside table. We ordered Fish Chips and Pork Belly. Both meals were excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed them. A great venue serving very good food well worth the visit Food: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We received a recommendation for this restaurant, and what a delight it turned out to be! They have a great selection of food at reasonable prices. Although it's located outside the main area, the friendly staff were very knowledgeable about local events. I would highly recommend this place to everyone!

Great village pub with live music and monthly events. A warm and friendly family run business. Highly recommend the live music evenings and cider festivals that are held here. When the food finally arrived, my mother’s order of Welsh lamb was incorrect. To make matters worse, they also forgot to bring our drinks, so we had to return to the counter to remind them. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the terrible service, and the bartender's demeanor was simply unprofessional. I highly recommend avoiding this establishment; it’s definitely not worth your time or money.

Food was lovely but service was awful. Left us sitting there for 45 minutes and no-one came over and asked us if we wanted desserts or more drinks and when we did ask we were told no cause the next sitting wss coming in which we was not told about and then had the cheek to charge us service charge which we asked them to remove. It's a shame cause food was really nice but will not return Price per person: £30–40
