"This morning, my swimming group and I visited Apple Tree for a group Christmas breakfast. We often swim in the lake and decided it would be a nice treat. We were pleasantly surprised with the numerous breakfast options available, making it easy for even picky eaters like myself to find something they enjoy. The food was delicious, not greasy at all, and well worth the £5.95 I paid. It was a special treat to have fried bread for the first time in years! The staff were friendly and efficient, the service was quick, and the view of the lake was lovely. I would highly recommend Apple Tree and plan to return, maybe for the Sunday roast next time."

"we have chosen this pub randomly from google maps for somewhere for a family meal, as it was convenient for everyone to come, and we are so glad that we did. we sat in the conservatory restaurant, which was beautiful and bright and airy. everything was clean and tidy, well designed and comfortable. the personal was absolutely fabulous; very friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much annoyed. the food was wonderful; there was a large and varied selection for all three courses and everything our party was ordered was perfection, well presented and the portion sizes cooked the most acceptable. another thing that I liked was that there was a toilet for disabled and my father was with us and is in the wheelchair, this was very comfortable and warm. something that they rarely find in pub restaurants. all in all, the kings head was a crisp sound. we all had a good family meal and we would definitely get back there! thank you."

"This charming pub is truly a hidden gem. We have visited for Sunday lunch and dinner on several occasions and have always been impressed by the friendly staff and excellent service. However, it is the incredible food that truly stands out. After enjoying our meals so much, we decided to inquire about hosting a small wedding reception for 34 guests at Kings Heads. Not only were they happy to accommodate us, but they exceeded all expectations. We were treated to a delicious three-course roast dinner and the staff were beyond amazing. They went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect, from decorating the room to providing everything we needed for our special day. A huge thank you to Claire and the team for making our wedding reception truly unforgettable. Our guests are already looking forward to returning, and we will definitely be back as well."

"Travelled from suffolk to meet up with some friends from London and to have a meal,meet up was great but the meal was really poor,6 roast dinners and all totally bland,no taste whatsoever then ordered 6 deserts which took almost 40 mins for them to turn up,asked the waiter how long they were going to be at one point and were told that the chef was really busy and it was tough....4 of the deserts were Eton mess which when they turned up were a joke,more like ice cream and cream,the waitress did not charge for the deserts which was a help but sadly to say we wont be returning.The manager never even apologised as we walked past him and went to sit in the beer garden.....nice pub but sadly the food lets it down."

"Highly recommend this café if you're looking for a superb afternoon tea. The staff were friendly from the moment you walked through the door and nothing was too much trouble. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely scrumptious! The sandwiches were lovely and fresh and I particularly liked that we could choose our own fillings in advance. The cheese and plain scones light and crumbly and still warm and the selection of cakes were delicious. In no way were my friend and I rushed to finish our tea. Actually it beat us and we were given boxes to take the remaining cake home. A lovely afternoon"
