The owner was very hospitable. One of the ladies (Sydney) made us feel so welcome. She was very attentive excellent service from Sydney. Asset to this place. Highly recommended All the staff were excellent made are stay memorable

Our favourite place in the area with the most wonderful welcome. The whole place is beautifully decorated and very very clean. Really dog friendly. The food and drinks are amazing!! Best chips ever! Can’t recommend this wonderful pub enough.

What a lovely place and what fantastic hosts. Really accommodating when we needed to reschedule but when we arrived, our short break couldn't have been nicer. The landlord and landlady are very warm and welcoming. They take great pride in what they are trying to achieve which is high standards on both the hotel side and in the quality of food and drinks. All this is reflected in the brilliant quality of renovations that they did. Wonderful food, cozy atmosphere, they are happy to share recommendations for other places to visit and eat which we can vouch were excellent.

Do not miss the chance to stay at this professionally run inn with rooms and fine food. Well situated to visit all the major sites, especially Faversham and Cantebury. Our room was ideal, as we do not do stairs! Open out onto private terrace. Good bathroom with walk in shower. Bed was huge, perhaps a tad firm. Room service was basic but spotless. Restaurant served excellent choice well cooked and well served. Well done!

We cannot praise this hotel enough...everything was in line with our idea of a perfect stay. Met in a friendly and welcoming manner and assured a table would immediately be reserved to meet our requirements. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed linen classy and blissful. My boyfriend and I were travelling down from North Yorkshire and chose this restaurant for our evening meal. We were running late (7 hour journey wirh traffic! so rang Phil to let him know. He was absolutely lovely, professional and understanding and did what he could to alleviate the pressure. The meal was absolutely delicious, truly top class in a divine setting. We travel a lot Phil provided us the best service we have ever had at a restaurant. Thank you Phil team for such a pleasurable experience.

Just spent a memorable family weekend at The White Horse celebrating my amazing parents 70Th wedding anniversary. We took rooms overnight which were beautifully appointed and very comfortable and luxurious. The courtyard room worked particularly very well for my elderly parents needs (wet room, easy parking access and close to the bar! . The bar area was equally comfortable and well stocked. The star of our stay was our lovely meal which was beautifully executed but also delivered with discreet but warm service. On first impressions, lovely place in the village, lovely rooms, very clean, comfy bed, the room I was in, lovely decor, this was booked by my workplace we thought breakfast was included within the price they paid, in the morning of leaving we ordered a full English breakfast which was £11.50, we also had a pot of tea, fresh orange juice toast, when we came to check out, my bill was £17.50, I have never stayed anywhere where I've had to pay extra for a cup of tea, it's normally included within your breakfast price, so please don't be fooled by these extra prices for a pot of tea, fresh orange juice toast, also no cereal available, which is unusual for an establishment not too offer, so this...
