Came tonight for my Grandads birthday and had an excellent night. Service and food were amazing, one guy was exceptionally good with my 4 year old and made the whole experience much easier, will definitely return Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £100+

Didn't eat in the restaurant but in the cosy bar area. Log fire, items hanging on the walls, and ceilings bring the bar to life. Cosy seating areas make this a perfect place to relax. Nice surroundings for this interesting venue, which I think was like three different restaurants adjoining one another. The food was lovely. 2 of us had rib eye steak, which was cooked exactly as we asked. The other 2 in our party had steak pie, and again, it was lovely. Very generous portions. Service was good. It lacked a little atmosphere. The music wasn't turning on until everyone except us had left, and we were about to go. It's just a little thing, but it makes a difference to an evening. I would definitely go again and recommend, as the food and service were good.

Although we initially thought we couldn't fit in dessert, we took a little break and then decided to explore the dessert menu. Resistance was futile! I ordered the Plum and Frangipane Tart (gluten-free) with custard, while others chose the Biscoff Cheesecake and Rum Babas. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back soon. As for dietary restrictions, I enjoyed the gluten-free Chicken Satay as a starter, followed by the Brisket on Horseradish Mash and fresh vegetables, finishing with the delicious Plum and Frangipane Tart with custard for dessert.
