"We visited for a group event. It is a great venue and the buffet food was very good. I had the chicken curry and samosa which was very tasty. Service was good and staff were friendly and efficient. Had a very decent meal here and we and the dog were made to feel welcome. A nice alcove to sit in and a helpful barman. Lots of books on sales for charity.

this is a very traditional and unofficial pub. I enjoyed visiting here with my wife for a few afternoon drinks. the pub has a functional room, so will provide for larger meetings, but on a quiet day of the week in the october, the rest of the pubs too did time for a very relaxing atmosphere. also the beer selection was very good.
