"booked a table for dinner on a Wednesday at the arrival it was 'pie night' certainly not disappointed as a good selection of very delicious cake awaits us! my wife and I received a warm welcome from the friendly and helpful owners. this is. a beautiful place in a picturesque location, the high above matlock bad and the height of abraham. the natives also made us very welcome. all in a big pub worth a visit!"

we had a nice family trip for dinner, eating was amazing as always. we had a fish starter and cheese starter between 4 of us who are very beautiful and fill! then three steak pies and a chicken cake that was incredible! Always...to feel welcome by the nice staff, they can not do enough for us
