First visit and will go back. Staff were attentive and helpful. Food was delicious (tried something different to my usual Italian type of meal and didn't regret it). The restaurant is set out really nicely and decorated stylishly. Would definitely recommend.

This is my first review on this site, but I felt compelled to write it after my shocking experience with a rude waitress and how she treated other diners. I believe the staff could benefit from some customer service training. I was very disappointed and my dining experience was ruined. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

I visited this restaurant last night before the Great North Run and had a fantastic experience. The pasta was delicious and the sides were spectacular. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the prices were very reasonable. I will definitely come back if I am in the area again. It was disappointing that they had run out of tiramisu, but the pancetta was also quite good.

The food at this restaurant was fantastic and the service was outstanding! However, we were put off by the behavior of what seemed to be the owner and his partner who were sitting near us. They did not seem to treat the staff working there very well, which was a bit disappointing to see while we were dining. Nevertheless, the two girls and the man who were working did a great job!

We went to this restaurant on our date night and the service was exceptional from the beginning to the end. Steph and Alecks, our servers, were welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. They were attentive to my allergies (I am gluten free) and had options for pizza and pasta, which is uncommon in my experience. The food was delicious, the restaurant was beautiful, and I will definitely be returning in the future!

I went to The Florence last night with my family, as my daughter, who is a student in Jesmond, recommended it. We had a wonderful evening and the meal was fantastic. This was my second time visiting The Florence, and just like the first time, it was amazing. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The waiters were very friendly and likeable. I started with the carpaccio, which was delicious, and then had the tagliatelle with chorizo and prawns for my main course, which was also excellent. They have a great selection of wines at reasonable prices. Overall, we will definitely be returning to The Florence again and again.

A friend of mine booked here for a get together while he was in town, we have never been before but what a find! Housed on a busy Osbourne road the frontage is is quite classy, welcomed and shown to our table by attentive but not intrusive waiters. Decor and furnishings are comfortable and the atmosphere is warm. The menu is classic Italian with a varied choice. All the meals we had were delicious, bruschetta is the best I’ve had, the portions are generous and mains are cooked perfectly. Three of us had a reservation for 7pm. We were promptly greeted, seated, and ordered a beer for one person and a bottle of wine for the two girls. The wine was poured quickly and we selected our dishes. Our starters arrived in a timely manner. My chicken pate was delicious, but the bruschetta was too crunchy.
