This was a wonderful dining experience. The place is comfortable and tables not too close together. The waiter was superb-friendly and extremely efficient The food was great, from the bread to the starters to the entrees. The Beef Bourguignon really is very good. We enjoyed the Escargot and Lamb as well.

Had a delightful dinner in this restaurant. A couple of blocks from our apartment in the Marais it was a great find. Sat outside at one of the many tables. It was very busy, but the service and the food was very good. Our party had escargot, the boeuf bourguignon and steaks and they were all excellent. A good selection of long drinks and wine made for a great experience.

Simply, the restaurant far exceeded our expectations. Set on a quiet corner in the Marais, the tables spill out onto the sidewalk for a quintessential Paris restaurant setting. There was a nice hum of French and English conversation; it's always a bonus when the restaurant is not entirely American visitors. The young server was efficient, friendly and the food was outstanding. Don't miss the escargots; the layered beet and goat cheese salad and the beef bourguignon. Would we go again? In a heartbeat. Discovered Au Bourguignon du Marais on my last visit to Paris when I was staying in the Marais, ate there a couple of time and was impressed by the service, the attention to detail by staff and the quality of food. In December 2016 I was back in Paris for 5 weeks and ate once a week at Au Bourguignon du Marais.The staff were the same as 12 months previously, the food and service at the same high standard. Got this recommendation from the Rick Steves' Paris guidebook, and glad we did. Sitting outside under the awning on a rainy Paris evening, with a good glass of wine, a delicious meal, and wonderful audience, could not have been better! We had their signature entree, Beef Bourguignon, cooked in a small cast iron pot...and it was delicious! Not wanting to overeat, one was enough for the two of us. The starter of Millefeuille de Betteraves (Beets layered with goat cheese) was superb. The dessert was one of the best lava cakes ever, on a bed of creamy custard. Literally searched 'Best Bourguignon in Marais' and this place was the top suggestion.It's easy to see why.Sat on the corner back from the main road, it's very non descript and you'd probably miss it if you were not looking for it.
