AB is an old fashioned beer hall where the tables are all made to accommodate 8 to 12 diners, plain wood, no fripperies, plenty...of fine beers and lashings of food. As the beer goes down, the noise ramps up! Families and adult groups all enjoying their evening out. Strangers are expected to share the table if there is space, and everyone is courteous and friendly. The staff were helpful to us as non German speakers, and showed us choices through the extensive menu. We were agog at the size of some of the servings that came past our table.
