"First time at Brettingtons. Party of 6. We all agreed that the food was nice but nothing special. All the steaks seemed rare instead of medium, which was fine for 4 of us but the other 2 left quite a large portion each. The bar ran out of 2 out of 3 of the drinks I ordered which was disappointing. The bill was shocking. Nearly £600 for 6x starters, 6 x mains , 4 x desserts. A £62 surcharge added . And because of this, we definitely won’t be back"

A lovely experience with a great selection of starters. The ribeye steak was a little chewy, but my sirloin steak was cooked nicely.

I have eaten here many times and never been disappointed. The ambient guitar piano saxophone background music is a perfect setting for the well presented and wonderfully cooked food. Service is attentive and all the waiters waitresses have a smile. A joy.

Have been a loyal customer for many years, I feel after the recent menu change, price has gone up (and was already expensive) but portion size has decreased which is such a shame. Good food don’t get me wrong, just wish there was more for the amount you are paying for.

Really important night and Brettington’s did not disappoint. Food was fantastic and the service exceptional. We had concert tickets for 7.30 and only had an hour. Our waitress was wonderful, got us out on time but managed not to make it feel rushed. Great experience. Thank you Visualizza piatti

Very disappointed, service was slow and confused the order, the food had to be sent back, burnt lamb and the fillet steak was grisly and chewy. We had been looking forward to a nice meal out with friends and I’m not one to usually complain but have had a better steak cheap from the supermarket. The toilets were dirty too.

Whatever you eat you will not be disappointed. The service is worth a mention as it was excellent. The only wobble was the selection of white wine which was not very good. On the web site, Chardonnay was on the list but it wasn't available. The web site needs to be kept in sync with the restaurant. This did not spoil since the Pinot Grigio was very nice.
