Their staff were lovely and attentive. My wife’s steak was fine, my T bone was very small. I didn’t complain as my wife didn’t want me to. She agreed it looked at a pork chop and we shared her steak. It’s wasn’t a nice experience.

"In August 2021, my wife and I dined at this restaurant. The atmosphere was clean and beautifully decorated. The menu met our expectations, and the staff were very helpful in providing recommendations on house specialties and unique flavors. I’m not a huge fan of curry, but I always order the chicken dupiaza when I go to a curry house, so I can make accurate comparisons. I must say, this was one of the best I've had. The dishes were flavorful, and the portion sizes were generous—no complaints at all. I highly recommend this place and look forward to visiting again."

"One of my favourite places on the Wirral, I have been going here since it opened years ago and we often have family birthday or special occasion celebrations here. I have never once been disappointed by the food or service which is always excellent and remarkably good value. The menu is extensive and regularly updated and they have a great selection for Gluten Freeers. The outside area is perfect for lunch or a cocktail and snack in the summer and I notice they are now offering Tapas style small dishes and a light lunch menu."

"My husband and I had the most amazing meal at Burnt truffle. We started with the fish soup and then shared the aged sirloin which came with peppercorn sauce, the best Parmesan chips I have ever tasted and delicious carrots. We ordered a side of broccoli too which was cooked to perfection. We finished with a chessboard and the honeycomb ice cream. Every element of the meal was cooked perfectly and was so tasty. I am not a great meat eater but the sirloin was delicious. I have not tasted food as good. The staff were attentive, pleasant and helpful. There was a new manager who ensured our evening went to plan, he checked in on us and was really a pleasure to speak to. I could not recommend this place highly enough. We will be back! Thank you Burnt Truffle. It was a great all round experience."

"I wrote a fab review after a great takeaway in August. We had another in September. It was not good, Monday evening order. Not always the best day of the week to order. We didn 't want to negatively review just one of those things. Ordered last night. 2 Poppadoms with a sad few slices of wet lettuce, one slice of cucumber, one eighth of a tomato, no onion. We had to chop our own. Onion bahjis were a no show. Phoned that they 'd been missed, we had no starter. We 'll refund you ? Oh, thanks!!! That really does complete the meal experience. Main curry dish was OK, but lacking, severely lacking in taste or care. Sorry, we 've given you two chances after a great experience we 'll buy elsewhere."

"We were the only customers on a Friday lunch time....therefore it was quiet. The waitress was lovely..she took time over our order and continued to check on us through out the meal....the pizza was lovely..thin and crispy..my grandson is used to Domino pizza so it came as a bit of a shock ! The meal price was part covered by a âmeal dealâ voucher so the price turned out very reasonable. I do agree that a glass of peroni is a bit expensive but I think that is the norm for restaurants. All in all if a few more people had been dining the atmosphere would have been better..we enjoyed our meal and would go again on a meal deal."
