My favourite restaurant in Sunderland. We go regularly and all of the staff are friendly and helpful. They do gluten free pizza and pasta which is a must for my bf and everything we’ve had has been delicious. Would highly recommend!

We visit Farrah’s regularly both as a couple and with our daughter. It is Family friendly without being child orientated. Great for a date or pre cinema dinner. Friendly staff who greet you with a smile and will make sure you’re meal is just right. Caters to vegans too. Wheelchair accessible with tables that fit the chair underneath so you can sit up properly.

ordered bruschetta and chips from but the staff didn 't feel the need to be polite when taking my order. Food came out and the bruschetta was rock hard and burnt. Didn’t want to return it but it was that bad I had to, the waitress didn 't even apologise and tried to say that 's the way a bruschetta should be. They brought a new one out but just cut the edges off the burnt crust. Will never return, couldn 't get over how rude the people were and the food was terribly shocking

Called in here today for lunch. Have to say we were very impressed. Our waitress, Tyler, was very friendly but professional. It was a little busy when we sat down but she dealt with orders and serving extremely well. We ordered our drinks and chose the seafood paella. It arrived piping hot and was one of the nicest we have had. We took our time with our meal and finished our bottle of wine at our leisure with no pressure from sny of the staff. Compliments to the chef and the waiting staff, will definitely return to try something different from the menu. Well done.

This place is superb. The food is cooked fresh, great prices too. Super friendly and helpful staff, they cant do enough for you. I have been here numerous times now and have always had the best experience. So much so i told the owner i am prepared to divorce my hubby of 30yrs to marry the chef Please try this place i cant praise it enough. My personal fav is the salmon risotto..... I never liked/ordered risotto prior to having it at Cafe Farah. My friends ordered the chicken with peppercorn sauce and the half pizza/pasta... All empty plates! Sorry no photos we just couldnt wait. Cant wait to return!

This is a lovely place! We came a good while ago and we were impressed then but for some reason we didn't go again. (Silly!: Until a week ago. My friend and I decided to go to Farah instead of standard fare at the standard place...! My partner came along later to join us and we were all hugely impressed. The staff are a joy, the food is cooked fresh and is delicious, (with vegetarian and vegan options too and the general feel of the place is just perfect. We sat for quite a while after our desserts and coffee, with no pressure to keep having more drinks (though of course we would have vacated if it was busy and we had a really relaxing afternoon, which we enjoyed immensely. My daughter is a regular customer of this cafe for 3 years now. However, On a recent visit she was approached by the manager in an aggressive manner falsely accusing her and her friend of writing a bad review on trip advisor regarding a previous visit when they had no idea of what she was talking about. She ignored anything my daughter said and kept insisting that they were at fault and embarrassed her in front of her friends and the whole restaurant. My daughter paid and left very upset as the owner failed to apologise and refused to listen to my daughter. I find this behaviour very unprofessional and unacceptable. My daughter will not be visiting this cafe again and she will make her feeli...
