Superb service and fantastic food. Mid week and a really good atmosphere. Quality , fresh food served with a smile and knowledgable wine recommendations. Also stayed over in one of their guest rooms...quirky and spotless.

Managed to get a last minute reservation on a weekday evening, staff helpful and friendly. The food was delicious, the 3 small plates offer is enough to share between 2 people on the side of a main. Chicken with mushroom was lovely. Visualizza piatti

We had a fantastic time at this restaurant, with a warm and friendly owner and staff including Massimo, Alessandro, and Lauren. They took great care of us, especially considering one of our group had a severe nut allergy. The food was amazing! We will definitely be booking again when we come to visit our daughter at university.

Encouraging to see a restaurant busy mid week, we called in on the off chance and were seriously impressed. The Leicestershire area has been missing a decent Italian since the old owners of Ferraris retired. Every dish that came out the kitchen was piping hot, superbly presented and what we tried all tasted fresh. Make sure you leave room for dessert the Tiramisu was stunning Drink prices are very reasonable along with a friendly team of staff. Highly recommend

I dined at this restaurant last night with friends, and unfortunately, my suggestion left us all feeling slightly disappointed. Each of us ordered different dishes, but we all felt that the portion sizes were lacking. I have eaten here before and never encountered this issue, so I suspect that the portions may have been reduced to keep prices competitive. Personally, I would prefer to pay a bit more for a more satisfying meal. Despite this, the food was excellent, but the portion sizes were a downside. This is without doubt the worst dining experience I have ever had. It is only the second time I have ever been served food of such poor quality that I was unable to eat it and I eat in restaurants regularly. Once I Informed the host about my problem he was frankly rude and, although he grudgingly offered me an alternative, he was clearly trying to say that the problem was mine rather than something wrong with the food. The same person became rude to the point of being aggressive when we paid and left. We had an overnight stay in Loughborough on our way to Manchester. I checked out TripAdvisor and booked this restaurant off the back of it/ We booked for 8.15 and found the very small bar/waiting area packed. We were told on arrival that they needed another ten minutes. Now I'm not sure how long we waited but it probably was half that before we were seated. The decoration of the restaurant was very nice and the place had a real energy and buzz which created a great atmosphere. We were served promptly taking our drinks orders. After hearing so many good reviews from friends and family about this place I was really excited to go with a good friend for a catch up. Regret to say I was so bitterly disappointed. We sat and the restaurant was full at 7pm when we arrived. Our server asked about our drinks quite quickly and we hadn't even had a chance to look at the menu. It then took a further 10 minutes before our order for drinks was taken. Our food order was taken quickly after that and came out about 10 minutes after ordering.
