"I found myself in the chef and manager a few times and I wonder why I can't say I'm eating here all the time. it is easy to be seduced by the larger restaurants in the region that shouted for their attention, but I find this dining shop to have a warm and ambiente most lacking, and this is certainly created by veronika and the personal and their quiet, inviting arrangement. the always lovely chef of cuisine almost always turns out his head with real smiles and nods and you just don't get that very often. Relaxing and simply enjoy sitting, eating is always tasteful, the menus well thought out and creatiw and the presentation deliciously inviting. ideal for business, family or intimate meals, I recommend that you make the effort or travel and sink into a beautiful culinary experience."

Loved it. Went for the steak meal night where a sirloin is £15.95. The food was great. Starter and desert were delicious also. Halloumi cheese was top tier. Great atmosphere too with very friendly staff. A great experience and will be back! Visualizza piatti

the thought would try here based on tripadvisor reviews and was not disappointed! beautiful ambiente, very pleasant staff, not silly prices, beautifully presented eating. but above all, really good, delicious meals, we both enjoyed our dinner. would definitely recommend!

First time here for myself, but wasn't disappointed. Ordered the expensive fillet steak, but the chef clearly knows his stuff as it arrived perfect medium rare as I ordered. Pepper sauce accompaniment was superb. Staff were friendly and professional and deserve a generous tip. Cant...wait to go back

While out cycling I called in on spec to get a takeaway sandwich. I had not been in this restaurant before and it appeared very busy. Rebecca sorted me with a huge tuna salad sandwich and some crisps on the side- all was delicious. Very...well priced. Service here is excellent. Staff are polite, knowledgeable and very quick. This is a wee gem in Ards and I'm going to make a point of lunching here next time i cycle thru Ards. Visualizza piatti

I ordered a medium fillet steak and it was cooked perfectly, it melted in my mouth. It was the best and most delicious fillet steak I've had in a long time. It came with delicious mushrooms and a small basket of chips that were so good I couldn't resist finishing them all. Our waitress was very efficient, polite, and friendly. The evening was topped off with an exquisite Irish Coffee that was so tempting, I almost ordered another one. We will definitely be returning. Great job to the chef and manager!

when we arrived in this restaurant, it looked closed, we were early. but we were very welcome to enter. our order was given to us time to look at the menu and the food and drinks arrived in time. eating was very good, I had seafood. cader with sourded brot and my man had a lamb and bark meat burger, made to home and was very tasty, the chips were very good. we had a glass of wine, every one that made for a nice meal and we finished with very good coffee. the restaurant was very clean and this included the toilets. they were not too busy, but obviously took many bookings by phone and by callers. this is a great place to eat in the center of newtownards

"We have eaten in Grace Neill many times the food has always been very good and we enjoy the live music. Tonight we booked a table for 4 in the restaurant for dinner and enjoyed lovely starters and main courses. The problem arose when we realised that the table was flooded with water, my husband’s trousers were soaking and my dress could have been rung out. We drew this to the attention of the waitress who went and got the manageress. We suggested that the ice bucket was leaking. The manageress said this was unlikely, held it up in the air and then admitted that it was in deed leaking. She offered me some ‘blue towels’ to dry my dress off and when I declined she offered to take me ‘into the disabled toilet’, which I found rather bizarre and also declined. When the bill came £191) no gesture had been made to compensate for soaking our attire. I took the bill to the girls at the till and asked them to have another look at it, in light of our soaking clothes. The manageress returned to the table, with a new bill, having deducted an amount by way of compensation, for which we were grateful, but then she proceeded to comment that I had been rude to staff. Ironically, we found this comment rather rude in itself and also totally unnecessary. Having admitted that our dining experience was not perhaps 100%, it was rather counter productive to then claim we had been rude. It also further exacerbated our dissatisfaction. A disappointing end to what should have been another lovely meal in our local pub. Perhaps some management training in customer service would be useful."
