Excellent quality food for our traditional Sunday roast, so tasty and gorgeous desert to finish off with. Great comfortable atmosphere and friendly attention. And value for money I can't see how it can be matched.

Almost 1 hour and 30 mins for 2 courses of all you can eat Thai. When it came it was tiny portions and nowhere near as good as the reviews would have you believe. NOT worth the price. Will not be returning. I also live in the village and drink in the pub. Visualizza piatti

Went with friends for a belated birthday, and for a first experience I was delighted. We chose the set menu for 4 people. The food was plentiful, a good variety of dishes catering for all tastes, was freshly cooked and served hot, the service by all was excellent. We wasn’t rushed and had a lovely evening. I would highly recommend to anyone, they wouldn’t be disappointed, look forward to trying again. Compliments to the chef!!!

We had heard the Thai food was good so went to try, we were not disappointed. Situated inside a pub with half the pub set aside for eating. The Thai food was very good, we were not disappointed. Good size portions, the Tom Yum soup was delicious as was the green curry, with a good spicy kick but not overpowering. Only comment I would make is the main plates had not been heated, but the food was served hot so the food did not go cold. Looking forward to going back.

Booked after hearing several good reviews. Booked a table, no problem. Turn up, table over there was the greeting. Menu dropped at the table. Several minutes past so went to the bar to order drinks as clearly no one was coming to ask. 25mins later decided to ask at the bar if we should order at the bar, prompting someone to take the order. As for Thai food it’s only mediocre. Certainly no wow factor. Never asked if we would like more drinks. Plates cleared after finished. Maybe don’t do desserts, never given the choice. Village pub serving quality Thai food where about 20 of us descended (pre booked) for evening dinner. I’m an avid Thai food fan and this restaurant didn’t disappoint. Five starters and then six or seven mains with two sorts of rice and even chips for the faint hearted ensured nobody went hungry. Service was excellent and the best surprise was the tiny Thai chef coming in to take the accolades she did all the cooking apparently. Special mention to the front of house I think she was called Laura who was quick, efficient and chatty. If there’s any doubt about who she was, she’d one arm full of tattoos! Great evening thank you

Travelled up from London for the weekend to visit friends and met up for the evening in The Crown in Messingham,what I great little pub,really busy on a sunny Friday evening,good Atmosphere friendly locals,inside was busy so we sat in the garden,they offer a good varied menu with a mixture of Thai and English dishes,I went for the traditional sausage and mash the misses opted for the Thai green curry the youngest had hot dog and chips the oldest a Massaman curry all meals were excellent Hot and very tasty the Bannana fritter is to die for,would highly recommend,staff were very attentive,service was busy so we waited a while but it was worth it,we will definitely return when we come up again.

Had a fantastic family lunch today at the Crown Inn in Messingham. Sunday lunch offers 2 courses traditional roast lunch for £9.95 or 2 courses from the Thai menu, also for £9.95. We chose Prawn Tom Yam soup which was a fresh light spicy broth with plenty of veg noodles with king prawns. Followed by a Green Chicken curry with half portion rice half portion chips. An excellent portion of tasty curry with plenty of chicken breast. The presentation was excellent. Other family members chose roast chicken roast beef meals which were served with both roast mashed potatoes, stuffing, Yorkshire pudding plenty of vegetables with a jug of gravy.
