"Despite its appearance from the street (it looks like a normal bar) this place has an atmospheric terrace out the back where freshly prepared local dishes are served in a friendly and efficient manner. Drinks are a little expensive compared to other places in the town, but I can’t fault the food which was outstanding."

"point by point: first, the place is beautiful. a family and warm atmosphere, which makes the stay much more pleasant. They have everything decorated with a lot of drip and delicacy, you feel at home. As for the rooms, they're fine. smart tv, heating with a heater that seems to be doing nothing and leave the room with a magnificent temperature, very comfortable bed. quite quiet, there are no annoying noises or anything that disturbs your dream. The bathroom's not too big, but it's enough for what you're gonna do there. hot water comes out in seconds, it's fine. the meals. What to say about them. a 10. Congratulations to the kitchen staff for making such rich dishes. I loved the warm salad, the chicken, the gratined spinach and the loin. and desserts, which Catalan cream so rich. Moreover, the very attentive and sympathetic waitres, are excellent people. The only thing I can score with something negative is that, at least in mine, there was no toilet brush. and sometimes the somewhat loose cleaning. the bed made, all right, but the fault was in the bathroom. But, well, I don't know if it's gonna be a punctual thing or they're cleaning out of the way. It's the only bad thing I can comment on. a tip would be to change the sheaths of the beds beds beds, because they are white and take all the dirt. Anyway, if you're in the middle of a badge or close by and you're looking for a good place to stay and eat well, this is your place."

"Muy recomendable. Tanto el ambiente, como el servicio y la comida son excelentes. Sin florituras, buena comida, típica catalana. Las costillitas rebozadas son un plato que todos deberían probar. Con decir que en una semana que estuvimos por la zona, comimos allí 4 veces, lo digo todo. Volveremos cada vez que nos encontremos por la zona."

"In Summer or Winter (not November), the Taberna at La Granota is a gem. The menu consists of good typical International food, with a strong Catalan and seasonal tendency. It is extensive (grouped under snacks/starters, omelettes, meat dishes) and very reasonably priced. In fact, the high quality ice creams and afters are the best priced for a long way around. It's well worth noting the address, because the Taberna is one of only two restaurants we know (putting aside hotels and fast food places) which serves meals at any hour of day from 13.00 right through to 23.00. No need to anxiously watch the clock as you meet the odd slow moving tractor as you approach via the NII/A2 or the C63! La Granota is on the intersection of these two roads, with its own turning off the roundabout, and just north of Junction 9 on the AP 7. We've never known the staff anything other than friendly and helpful. Josep and his daughter Carme have run it efficiently and without drama for as long as we have been living nearby (i.e for at least 10 years and no doubt longer), and their staff are equally welcoming. In Summer, meals are served in the fresh air under a distinctive arched roof, which formerly must have been a shelter for farm animals. A fountain splashes away, and the Busy Lizzies smile. In Winter, La Taberna is cosy and rustic. This restaurant is very popular with families, whether in small numbers or for their celebrations, and also with business people for whatever negotiations or machinations they wish to undertake in a delightful environment. It is closed on Tuesdays and all of November."
