This place is a hidden gem. Authentic food, delicious, spectacular. Every single plate that we ordered was beyond expectations. The service is immaculate, they make you feel like family. While in Milan is a must visit.

Cucina calabrese autentica. Gli antipasti erano trascurabili, ma i piatti principali erano sapientemente conditi. Sorprendentemente, provate il torrone per dessert. Un ristorante delizioso e pittoresco che merita il premio Bib Gourmand della Michelin.

amazing eating, I took the spaghettoni alla tamarro and tiramisu desert and it was amazing. I had no table, had luck having a table for two, but it was the only one they had. Esperienza culinaria fantastica. Gli antipasti, il primo e i secondi sono perfettamente bilanciati in termini di porzioni e sapori. Ci hanno accolto con cortesia, anche se non avevamo una prenotazione in una sera di sabato. Il personale è professionale, gentile e paziente quando si chiede un consiglio. I tavoli piccoli per due persone con tovaglie bianche in una piccola strada lontana dal traffico rendono davvero piacevole la serata.

Ci hanno accolto con cortesia, nonostante non avessimo prenotato in una serata di sabato. Il personale è professionale, cortese e paziente quando si chiede un consiglio sui piatti consigliati. I tovaglioli bianchi sui piccoli tavoli per due persone in una stradina lontana dal traffico rendono davvero la serata speciale.

It was such a beautiful experience! If there's only one restaurant for great authentic pasta to try in Milan, its definitely Dongio!! Their forte is pasta so we ended up ordering THREE pasta dishes, nothing else! Best decision ever! Pleassseee try their 'Nduja and squid ink pasta, it's the most amazing thing ever! The Nduja pasta could be the best I have ever had, the squid ink one has a anchovies sauce base but trust me, its so well balanced and not fishy at all! I'm usually afraid of seafood but they really achieve a perfect balance for the squid anchovie caver saltiness and fishiness. Pasta is freshly made.
