Stopped by for a quick bite for lunch. Shared a Romanesco salad, meatballs (so tender! , and a braised chicken dish. Not sure if the prices match what you get, but it was all decent. Not much in the way of service or rapport from our waiter, and the ambiance was a bit lacking, but everything came out in a timely manner. The food is really good. We started with some appetizers: fried artichokes, scamorza affumicata and prosciutto di Parma. All of them tasted excellent. Then we ordered almost all pastas: carbonara, amatriciana, gricia and caccio e peppe. Really tasty and well done. I don't give 5 stars only because the caccio e peppe had too much pepper and some didn't find it pleasent. Maybe they should warn about it. They also provide a large selection of wine to accompany the meal. The service is friendly and kind. Il cibo era buono, non eccezionale ma nemmeno male. Quando siamo stati per pagare il conto, il cameriere ci ha chiesto tre volte di pagare un ulteriore servizio perché "il servizio non era incluso". Nel nostro conto era già indicato un costo aggiuntivo di 2,50 euro a persona per "pane e servizio". Sebbene mi aspetti di pagare per il pane in Italia, non l'avevamo richiesto e in realtà non volevamo il (secco) pane con la nostra pasta. Il cameriere è stato piuttosto scortese quando non abbiamo aggiunto un ulteriore servizio. Non torneremmo mai più in questo ristorante. I was very disappointed! We go for lunch for a birthday, up to the starters everything was normal, from then on one disappointment after another, we didn't even have time to finish eating the starters as they had already served us the first courses, even though we asked them to let us finish the starter and then bring the first courses back and do them again later, they brought us the same first courses reheated in the microwave, a total disgrace! The owner justified himself by saying that it was Sunday and the kitchen decides when to bring out the dishes without caring about the customers! Carbonara overcooked too peppery and not good, tonnarelli with cheese and pepper makes me feel worse!...

We (2 adults) went to this restaurant as recommended by a local lady we bought Tiramisu from her store. She said it's one of her favourite places to eat. It was also nearby our hotel, less than 15 minute walk. It was for a Wednesday evening and we made reservations a couple of hours before on their website. Lucky we did because it was quite busy inside and outside and they asked for reservations as well from you, otherwise it may be a slight wait. The server we had spoke English, which was nice. We sat outside because it was a beautiful evening and they also had heaters on for when it gets cool. Their menu is straightforward and had lots of good variety.
