I just dined (early dinner) at a restaurant recommended by a friend. Despite ordering a quality bottle of wine, the service from the manager and staff was disappointing. You can't come to Rome without passing by Fortunato. Time seems to have stopped. The waiters are very polite, helpful and willingly tell you the many anecdotes of this historic restaurant. Just stop in front of the numerous photos of stars and be a little curious. And for eating. Non puoi venire a Roma senza fare un salto da Fortunato. Sembra che il tempo si sia fermato. I camerieri sono molto cortesi, disponibili e raccontano volentieri i tanti aneddoti di questo ristorante storico. Basta fermarsi davanti alle numerose foto di celebrità e essere un po' curiosi. E per quanto riguarda il cibo? Assolutamente da provare la pasta cacio e pepe, i carciofi, i fritti, la carbonara... insomma, tutto rigorosamente romano. Cibo: 4

The ambiance was very nice and you can smell the delicious food being prepared. We started out with the seafood cappaccio, which was light delicate and full of flavor. We then tried two different lobster dishes that the waiter recommended. Both were prepared well and flavorful. The tiramisu was delicious.
