Hackescher Hof - Menu

We went here for a family diner. A bit old fasion, but the food was amazing. Go for the traditional dishes. We had the deer goulash and the wild boar burger.

we really enjoyed our food. we took the three cursor menu, which was a good value for money. excellent wine. the staff was friendly but would have picked up the pace at the end.

around berlin looking for lunch and this restaurant found. exactly what we were hoping for. good menu, good eating, excellent service and a beautiful underestimated ambiente. a visit is worthwhile when they make the opposite tours.

Just don’t bother to go. Rude manager, very slow service and average food with higher prices for the quality. My boyfriend and I waited over 40 minute for a plate of cheese and some eggs with tomatoes. The presentation was lower than average.

we had a reservation at hackescher hof. at the beginning everything seems quite wel, but we were assigned a restless table while other tables were still fit (without reservations cafés). they didn't have to put the table properly. and we were almost invisible to them. our diner takes almost 2 hours and they only asked about our drinks once. the food was good.

I had chosen this restaurant based on good reviews but was disappointed with the reality. Prices are more expensive than average (which I knew in advance) but were not matched by the food. My schnitzel was OK but not a patch on the ones I...had in Vienna a few years ago. My wife had salmon which was acceptable but nothing special. Service was a little slow initially (it was a long time before they even took drinks orders) but was acceptable after that.

A magnificent and beautiful premises with more light-bulbs than I've ever seen in one room. Three of us went, I specifically wanted a veal wiener schnitzel. It arrived (too) promptly which makes me think it came out of a box or a packet. It was...very salty and the accompanying fried potatoes had no salt at all, however the salad was very good. I've eaten all over Germany over many years and the food varies slightly depending on which area you're in, there are better places than Berlin to eat.

We weren't sure where to eat on a Sunday night and chose this based on location as it was close to our hotel and we were a bit tired. I confirmed my booking online (Note: Whist if doing this you get immediated confirmation the restaurant...don't for at least an hour afterwards and they actually may not be able to accomodate it its the booking sytems's fault not the restaurants). Anyway needn't had bothered as this large restaurant/bar/coffee shop was pretty empty. Staff were charming (and spoke english) and the food was great. I had the Wiener Schnitzel which was a meak in itself.

this restaurant found in quandoo and managed to get a late booking on a Saturday night. the reviews have 6/6 and as always, one is skeptical, but it has not disappointed. I tend to take an optimistic view by evaluating a restaurant in 10 and...then points as dinge disappointing, but honestly I could not find any mistakes. eating was amazing. I had followed the water-dress soup by deaf three away. the starter was really delicious, but the main was something special. fantastic cheese to finish and an excellent and inexpensive rice. my colleagues were also satisfied with their eating, but I think my was the best choice. the personal was beautiful, especially our waitress. my only criticism was...
