On top of that, some waitresses can 't explain the dishes: Indeed, when asked what was the pièce du boucher (today 's beef piece , she just said it 's a piece of the beef, but I don 't know which one ... Amazing...ly incompetent! Rather than asking at the kitchen what was the beef piece, she preferred instead to reply I don 't know . What a great gastronomic feeling to eat something you don 't know! Also, their parking lot exit doesn 't work well and the entrance obstacle won 't open as it should."

Réserver avant d’aller au restaurant est important… sauf lorsque deux fois de suite ce même restaurant « perd » votre réservation. Cela dit, le personnel est agréable et à l’écoute. Le cadre est soigné et propre. La nourriture est très correct, Parking gratuit. Bref, hormis pour les réservations, l’hippopotamus est une valeur sûre.

Lovely staff. We were met with a smile straight away, a choice of where to sit. They do have a terrace aswell as inside dining. The menu has a QR code to get it in English if you need it. Quick service, drinks food all served with pleasant chat and checks to see if it’s ok. We had steak and brochettes which were good. Alexandre was really interesting to talk to and helpful. Enjoyed our meal. It’s not fine dining but was good value. Good atmosphere. Been to other restaurants in this chain and it was the best we’ve been to, hence five stars.
