"To be honest, this is just a regular restaurant, food is very good, I've been there a few times during my stay in Paris so I have tried all of the entrées or almost and all of them were very tasty, meat is also very good. Price isn't the cheapest specially because it isn't a fancy restaurant so I expected it to be a little bit cheaper than average but the service is totally worthy the price. I felt so welcome everytime I entered this restaurant, even during a sunday when there was no one except for me and my boyfriend, which would never happen in Rio de Janeiro where I live. I'd like to congratulate the entire team and let you know that as soon as I am back in paris, I am coming to have some chèvre chaud and pain perdu avec nutella!!"

I'm very disappointed with a situation that happened in the Hippopotamus Restaurant , the manager was very arrogant and we get refused to serve our birthday cause is prohibited And burger wasn't the same as in the menu description

I went to Hippopotamus on a Saturday evening! We went on a whim at the end of the evening, absolutely wanting the starter: poached egg with chorizo! We were not disappointed. We were well received and served quickly, we ate really well! There were very few people, for a Saturday evening, I don't know if we went after the rush or if since it's the holidays, there are fewer people, in any case, we were very happy! If I want to quibble: Hippopotamus takes holiday vouchers, but not electronically, it's a shame, even if it's a detail. Thanks again to the staff, smiling, available and very professional!
