"we really liked eating here. the staff was very friendly, although there was a light language barrier. the staff there seemed to speak Italian and German, although the manager was quite decent English. I speak English and only a few words. in Italian and German. eating here was really great! we ordered the lasagne as an appetizer. it was really good! the soße was really excellent in my opinion. I saw another valet saying good, not great. please tell me what you're getting so I can try! I have the carbonara and wow it was very delicious. it was the original Italian version with only egg yolk and speck fat as sauce, but it was so tasteful! my friend ordered the mushroom ravioli and it was also super fresh, handmade and delicious. I had the Panna-Citta for dessert and my friend had the tiramisu. They have a larger part of the tiramisu, but both were also delicious! the prices for all were also quite reasonable. if they are in the opposite, they should really try. it is a small piece of italy in the middle of Germany!"

Friendly staff, quite a nice setting inside and self made pasta. They praise themselves of the best lasagna in town. It was very good indeed, but not great. In the Aglio Olio the Gaelic was burnt. Otherwise the food was very good. Would definitely come...back.

This resto is recommended by others and triggered us to go. Parking is on the street. There is a terrace where you can sit nicely in the shade. We ordered starters, mains and desserts. All courses were very tasty. We enjoyed the good food and...portions. Staff is very kind and will make sure you have a great evening out. Price Quality ratio is (very) good.

Very fresh ingredients and a lovely outdoor terrace. Just down the street from the shopping district. Only have Italian and German menus so it is difficult to order in English. However I just asked for a recommendation for a good daily special. They gave me...freshly made home made ravioli where they made the noodles and all of the ingredients. It was very lovely and tasty.

we've been here since the last few years and never tried. we have reserved and sitting in the garden. the service was absolutely friendly and helpful. all the meals we ordered were delicious, nothing to complain! we found the prices appropriate for the quality of service and food. we will return safely, this place is a clear recommendation! to take into account: tables outside the proximity of road traffic can be a bit loud.

Italian food is not the first cuisine you think of when visiting a small town in Germany, and yet La Sorpresa is, as its name indicates, a surprise. Situated near the center of town, its menu offers a great deal of authentic Italian dishes made...with fresh ingredients, from pasta made in a wheel of parmesan, to succulent fish cut and served in front of you. There are also delicious desserts, great coffee and a nice selection of liqueurs and digestives to end your meal. On top of the food, Giovanni (the owner) and his team are really friendly and make you feel at home.
