My family has been visiting La Vitas since the early 90s, including booking a 60th birthday party. The service has always been fantastic. The restaurant is both kid-friendly and perfect for couples. it is very rare if we visit a new place that we want to go back in our second night a second time. we went for chicken kebab with rice, a chicken kebab with chips, a pepperoni pizza with chips and.huhn cooked in a mushroom and cream sauce. it is an Italian restaurant and the chicken kebab was perfectly cooked, the meat was tender and was very tasty. the pepperoni pizza was not fat and was of good size. the mushroom and the cream sauce with the chicken was nice. all very tasty, absolute compliments to the chefs who work there, they should be very proud of themselves. the service was great and for a three cure meal was very good value for money. if we were ever back near edinburgh, we would bo...

has heard good things about this place, so we thought we would try. when entering, there was a strong smell of cheap bleaching agents that immediately put me down. we were welcomed immediately and brought to a nice table. the menu was very...limited that I had to begin the garlic mushrooms with which were not particularly pleasant. the prawn cocktails looked good, but nothing outstanding. we had a bottle chianti that was beautiful and a bottle of Italian Sauvignon Blanc that was quite bad and not very cold, but we drank anyway. the pizzas were absolutely delicious, but the carbonara was a little tasteless. the service was good and the waiting staff was friendly. the lighting is much too brig...
