"Went to this little bistro after a day of shopping, and because it's literally 1 minute away from our hotel. We have walked past this place everyday and it seemed very cosy as well, so we wanted to try it. The staff was very friendly, and welcoming. We sat at a table at one of the opening on the side, watching others stroll by. The GF went for the duck Magret, and I went for a rump steak with pepper sauce. Both dishes were cooked very well, delicious mains. For dessert, the gf ordered homemade chocolate mousse, and I ordered the apple tart with a scoop of ice cream. The mousse was very rich and fluffy, and the apple tart was nice, warm and had layers of crispy pastry. However, almost halfway in the tart-eating, I felt a strand of hair in my mouth. At first i thought it was mine, but it was a short brown hair. And then I found another one in the tart. Well, that was very disappointing as I thoroughly enjoyed the dessert. I immediately notified our lovely waitress, and she was quite surprised as how this could have happened, and informed the manager. There went my appetite for the remainder of my tart and I asked for the bill. She brought me the bill, but the manager came shortly after, and provided me a bill with the apple tart deducted. The total came down to €62,70 (gf also had a Spritz aperol cocktail). All in all, enjoyed the dinner, but the ending was a letdown. Would have scored it a 4/5 due to the friendly service and great food, but the ending is something that should not happen in a kitchen/restaurant."

Nice bistro at nice location. The steak with shalot sauce and vegetarian salad were very good for lunch. Also good and kind service. No tourist and businessmen are at the bar for lunch.

We had salad and drinks on the pavement seating and it was excellent. The waiter could not do enough for us, even though the place was crowded. There's lots of competition in the area so they have to be good.

More than the excellence of the kitchen (they serve a good brewery cuisine, no more), it is the warm atmosphere that we appreciate in the clerics: the waiters are welcoming and friendly, the music is pleasant, the frame of mirrors and foliage is relaxing, and the terraces give on the quieter streets than the restaurants of the top of the street of rennes (where are the two magots, the coffee). good points: - blonde leffe pressure- large salads- fruit pie (apple)

After walking around Paris for the day, we wanted to get a quick bite before catching a train out of town. This looked like the perfect spot as it was right near the hotel. We ordered a veggie burger and the chick-pea pancake. Both were delicious! The only downside was that the service took a while, especially to receive the check. The staff were very nice and friendly, but as the place was crowded, they each had too many tables to wait on. Overall, good spot for simple cafe food!
