I’m completely perplexed as to how this restaurant could have been awarded 2 or 3 Michelin stars. It’s simply underwhelming. The food was overly salty, with no “rhythm” to the degustation menu. The presentation was bland and almost ridiculously minimalist. Service was also atrocious despite there being many staff. Perhaps it was because we were not French?

Having eaten at almost every three star restaurant in Paris over the years, we decided to go to Le Pre Catelan because of its beautiful space, which was indeed beautiful. The rest was terrible.
