"For the fourth dinner, I fancied Italian since it was Friday and was craving seafood. I decided to go to Mamma Mia. Okay, don't all break into song at once. This place was phenomenal. It has moved into the top three restaurants for me in...Landstuhl along with Kurvilla Sickengen and Öhmüle. They featured a bunch of specials. I was able to read some of them based on my linguistics and the fact that I love to eat food. My dinner was a combination of two specials, the grilled calamari and the grilled shrimp. However, I first had an amazing salad and began with a delicious French onion soup. On my way out, I thanked the owner and said in my limited Italian, buon Natale e felice anno nuovo. He smiled and told me I was the customer of the year! I noticed the pig in front of the restaurant on the way out. I was not sure if he was telling me that I ate just like him."

Went during the week, one big party and a couple of smaller tables, the service was ok but not great the food wasn't just ok, it was great. would definitely keep this one on the list to do again if ever I travel here...again.

My husband and I go here usually once per month. The place is nice, clean. The service is wonderful. The food is outstanding! They have many choices of wine and a full bar. Great place for family, couples. We take friends and family when they...visit us.

I have eaten here numerous times with friends and the food is always good. The pasta is yummy, the pizza is good and the ice cream is just heaven. They don't accept animals inside though, so be prepared. The service is great and the food...is always to order and super hot when brought to the table. I have never been disappointed here.

I've eaten at Mama Mia's three times in the last couple of months. The food is excellent. Twice I had Spaghetti with Oil and Garlic (Aglio Et Olio), the other time I ordered Grilled Calamari from the Daily Specials. Both were excellent. The Tomato and...Onion Salad is also very good. For dessert I recommend Tiramisu which is a coffee-flavored Italian dessert. Mamma Mia's is quaint and usually full so reservations are recommended.

One of the best food in the town. The owner is a bartender and waiter himself and doing both jobs pretty well. The restaurant was full even in the middle of the week. For that reason I recommend to book a table in advance. The...food was amazing quality, I ordered a grappa and a tomato salad for a start and a glass of red Italian with the main. The main was grilled turkey in sauce and fresh mushrooms to die for it. The lemon ice-cream was delicious also. Definitely will come back!

I’ve been to this location over a decade ago, and although sad to see the traditional Alte Feuerwasche (old firehouse) restaurant opened under a different name/cuisine, the food and atmosphere at Mama Mia’s are still great. Most remnants of the old firehouse are unchanged. From...the new name, you can ascertain the restaurant is Italian, but they still serve some German fare. My husband had the pizza special, along with the combination pasta, and I had a salad and garlic shrimp which also came with a side of pasta. Everything was superb and the service was good. Found Mamma Mia off Trip Advisor. Happy we visited! The building is an old fire station converted into a lovely Italian restaurant. Daniel, the owner's son, was very friendly and talked to us for a little while as our food was being prepared. He speaks...great English and since our sister-in-law and her family live in Italy not far from where his father is from, we had that in common for conversation purposes.
