Food took a while but, if all made on the spot, which it seemed like it was, then it wasn't a problem. It tasted great. All of it. The staff were lovely too. Very nice evening. Best to book.

We celebrated a 60th Birthday here for a party of 15 The food was perfect and the staff could not do enough to help us, they all made us feel very welcome and were willing to go above and beyond when asked to help with the cake etc.

We were disappointed as we had ordered linguine and were served spaghetti! The waitress didn 't mention it, half way through our meal we said, I 'm sure we asked for linguine. She answered 'They had run out of linguine ' We enjoyed the food but wouldn 't rush to go back.

Service and food was excellent. Great menu to choose from. Prices are very reasonable. All cooked on the premises with fresh ingredients. Nice selection of wines and beers. The portion size was excellent. The tomato soup was divine. I recommend you go there. Better to book a table though.

If I lived in Llandudno I'd eat there every night! We were only there for a few days but our experience of this lovely restaurant was one of the highlights of our stay. We had prawn linguine in the most delicious sauce followed by a fruit pannacotta which was the best ever. And, of course, we had wine! I highly recommend Mamma Rosa.

We came for a meal here on new year's eve. I couldn't have been more impressed by the service and the food. We were made to feel welcome like family, our main waitress, Jen, was amazing. She was so patient even when we were being a pain in the backside about splitting the bill. All the staff were super friendly and personable. The food was delicious. We had to book to ensure we could get in, so I suggest you do the same. It is a small restaurant but we'll put together. The menus is Italian and the food was amazing, I had the homemade lasagna and it was really good. We also had 2 cocktails they we tasty. The garlic bread was so yummy. Staff were accomondating I am allergic to seafood and fish the chef and staff kept asking the right questions so I was I felt safe. The only think that let it down for me was dessert it wasn't great but maybe what I chose toffee sponge. But the espresso was strong and very Italian. Great place to visit but book.

This is supposed to be a traditional Italian restaurant which is being run by an English family. We booked this restaurant as there everything was fully booked and we were pleased when we called and reserved a table for three. We ordered vegetarian lasagna and other sea food dishes. The food arrived but there were no Italian flavours, herbs or the taste. Sea bass was plain with no flavour, with a bunch of salad in the middle of the plate. However, once we started the lasagna we noticed meat inside and asked the waitress whether it was meat. She confirmed it was pork. Having heard really amazing reviews we finally tried mama Rosas last night. The smell of the food when you walk in is amazing but the atmosphere was flat with no music just the sound of the table behind us engrossed in conversation. It didn't start well when my husband ordered a tetleys which came to the table in the form of a warm tinny with a room temperature pint glass that he had to pour his own drink in to at a price of around £4.The starters :cheese garlic bread and burnchetta were really nice, the salt and pepper squid was sadly over done. The mains we all agreed were bland and lacked any seasoning other than garlic, I couldn't eat my tagliatelle bolognaise, the pasta was under cooked...
