"We were thrilled. In early August we spent a nice short holiday in the area. After two days in the Europapark, we wanted to come to one of the locals last night and land on the recommendation of our Riegler Stammhaus hotel. We were warmly welcomed and found a place in the beer garden. We were immediately helped with the linguistic barrier of some local terms. We felt comfortable and the owner and our waitress were very loving. The whole thing was excavated by an excellent meal. The bottle soup was unique and we still talk about it. Why a preliminary soup makes so much impression?! You have to eat them to understand. Tastefully on all levels only a pleasure. The cabbage routines were also a mess. Here you will find really good German cuisine with a lot of love you taste. If we're back in the area, we'll be over. The evening was wonderful in your house and we thank you again for this (if it wasn't clear yet, great food, nice conversations and well-being atmosphere was! A warm greeting from the WDR4Land;"

"we ordered at the closestüble and at the gasthaus engl. my bees were burned and have also tasted totally burned. had to throw more than half away. the salat was labbrig and the salats sauce was sour. the pommes were cold at the arrival and tasted after old oil. all in all, it was not enjoyable. will no longer be ordered at the closestüble and at the hotel engl. if there was the possibility, I would give 0 stars."

"that with the star kitchen is such a thing, especially when the chef calls himself "eune restaurateur": expectation and commanded get in contradiction. two menus are offered: a regional and a youngly conceived "(protected, sharp, aromatic, kreatiw"). both without fail and impeccable, just as a trained patron imagines the standard requirements of the Michelin tester. but good laune doesn't want to be quite right: the desired creative design works quite well at half-empty local, the insect of every jus by the chef himself rather manier, and the decorative dish "jumping" hardly makes a contribution to the taste unfolding. only light view: the humorous operation (then!). We then moved to the digestif to the connected farmer economy, where joyful driving prevailed. Maybe next time we can just go there the calf meat box with potato beard salad."

"We went for lunch and had pasta. The side order of Pizza bread arrived and it reminded me of the scene in Charlie's angels when Lucy Liu threw a scone at someone and it damaged the door. This bread was rock hard and the waitress insisted it was fresh. Maybe we looked too Asian. The pasta meditterraneo with Rucola and cherry tomatoes can recommend and they had also minced garlic and minced chilli as sauces in addition. So it was a mixed bag of experiences and I really resent being taken for a ride, a fool or both."
