Excellent rare roast beef and scrummy roasties ..all sat by a lovely log fire...we shall be back oh and the beer was good too

It's nice to be able to go out for a meal where you can have a pleasant conversation without having a constant battle with the background music. The atmosphere is good, the service great and the food excellent. Will definitely be going back here again.

Went here today, service was fantastic every member of staff who served us was great. We also had two dogs with us and they were very respectful. The food was delicious cooked really well. Overall a really good dining experience and will be going there again.

Beautiful meals here. I think it was better when it was a Pesto restaurant. Although expensive, the food was good and so it was a treat, a special meal. Now it has changed it is still good service and lovely food but the prices are high and the portions are small. We might go again, just to try the fish and chips just to give them another chance. I visited this pub with friends for Sunday dinner for the first time. The pub has a nice interior and the staff were friendly and helpful. They offer a diverse menu with many options, including a delicious Sunday dinner. The potato slices could have been thicker, but were still enjoyable. My partner ordered a burger, which was tasty, but the fries he ordered were thick and not as crispy as we would have liked. Despite this, we had a pleasant meal overall and would consider going back.

beautiful decoration and nice eating. in any case recommend eating was wonderful and the waitress was beautiful. would have given 5 stars, but if we paid, we had to ask if we had given the right money, as the big one behind the bar accepted it a tipp. we felt quite embarrassing because we had asked for our change, we had a top ready to leave on the table when they gave great service after we made to feel so awkward we left without something. never one should assume that the change would be a top after all its not obligatory it is a gesture.

We visited this restaurant last night on a whim, made a reservation online, and were seated promptly at 7:30. Jayne warmly welcomed us, took our drink orders, and handed us the menus. I decided on a Sloe gin and tonic, while my partner ordered a special drink recommended by Ben. Our dishes arrived quickly despite the busy atmosphere. I enjoyed a crispy beef salad and my partner had Thai fishcakes, followed by a Steak and Ale pie for him and Chicken Katzu curry for me. The food was hot, delicious, and beautifully presented.
