Went here with my Girlfriend on our first night in Milan. Food was lovely and the portions very generous. Above all I have to say many thanks to the waiter who’s service was fantastic and really made us feel at home . Very impressed overall

This restaurant is fantastic. The staff is terrific they greet you enthusiastically and we were seated at a nice table with cloth tablecloths immediately. We had pasta dishes both nights be ate there that beyond belief. Generous tasty portions that left you completely satisfied. The prices were very reasonable. Sono stata a Milano molte volte e sto proprio finendo una settimana qui e questo è il miglior pasto di pasta semplice che abbia mai mangiato in questa città. E il ristorante era aperto il 1 novembre, quando tutti gli altri erano chiusi. Il ragù è perfetto. La pasta è perfetta. Le vongole erano perfette. Tutto era ben cucinato e perfettamente condito. Non posso dire abbastanza su questo piccolo ristorante di quartiere modesto, e nemmeno in un ottimo quartiere.

Abbiamo visitato un locale con mia moglie alla fine di settembre subito dopo l'apertura. Il servizio era terribilmente lento, siamo stati soli per parecchio tempo, ma ci hanno portato il menu solo dopo circa 15 minuti. Come primi piatti abbiamo preso risotto e gnocchi, i gnocchi erano buoni ma mancavano alcuni ingredienti indicati nel menu (in particolare lo speck e le noci). Il risotto era terribile, sembrava che avessero usato il riso più economico non destinato al risotto e l'avevano bollito eccessivamente fino a farlo diventare un tipo di porridge. Il Piccolo Principe, the Little Prince, is not small when it comes to menu choices. We are in Italy working for 5 months and this place, one block away from us, is a popular neighborhood pizzeria/restaurant and now I know why. Reviews I read talked about the friendly service and good food that is served in generous amounts. That is accurate! The risotto with artichokes and shrimp was a very large portion packed with incredible flavor. We went fish on two other orders--the Genovese-style octopus (olives, potatoes, garlic, cherry tomatoes and oil white wine) cooked/served on a cast iron pan. What a great combination!
