"Wir haben zufällig dieses Restaurant gefunden. Leider war der uns zugewiesene Sitzplatz an der Hausmauer bereits nichts besonderes. Die Vorspeise bestehend aus gedünsteten Steinpilzen war Klasse. Was hingegen dann folgte: Granftitto und Cotoletta alla Milanese war an der Grenze des Zumutbaren. Das Gemüse des Granfritto war völlig ausgetrocknet uns das beim Cotoletta war das plattgedrueckte Fleisch ebenfalls trocken , dafür war die Panade umso dicker. Nachdem eine Reisegruppe eingetroffen war galt die Aufmerksamkeit nur noch der. Verständlich dass wir auf einen Dessert verzichteten."

We went for lunch with a starter, first course and second course. The pasta isn't that great with very small portions, the meat is good but overall the prices are really high for what you eat. Nice place, but excessively expensive for the dishes and their quality. The first courses (pasta with meatballs and mushrooms) absolutely do not reflect the cost in terms of quantity and quality. The appetizers (fried chicory, artichokes with cheese and bread with sauce) are also too expensive compared to the quality. Nothing to say about the meat, truly excellent. Ultimately too expensive, I wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend it. Price per person: €90–100

This was our favorite restaurant. With the new management many things have changed, and apart from the elegantly renovated location, the same cannot be said for some aspects of the cuisine.. Too bad I had higher expectations.. This is OUR favorite restaurant: when we want to delight our palate, when we want to celebrate an important date... but above all when eating well is a must! Here is the place where the food is still genuine and good, in the true sense of the term!! Thank you

Ristorante con molte possibilità ma con una povertà di esecuzione. Hanno alcuni piatti squisiti (agnello e carni) ma altri di qualità molto scadente (pasta al tartufo e trattamento della Bistecca, entrambi saporiti). È importante tenere a mente che se un cliente ordina una bevanda, dovrebbero prestare attenzione e non doverla chiedere fino a 4 volte, e soprattutto, non dovrebbero mai dire al cliente che c'è qualcos'altro dietro (se il cliente lo ordina, consiglio di servirlo perché rende tutto più facile, si soddisfa il cliente e si finirà comunque per farlo).

"Visited months ago The label of a vegetarian restaurant absolutely does not correspond to what Joia represents in the Italian gastronomic panorama. We are talking about the maximum expression of haute cuisine, overwhelming ideas, bold and unexpected combinations, exceptional raw materials, all served in an exclusive environment suitable for providing customers with a fantastic experience. Chef Leemann showed up in person to take the order and give his suggestions on the sequence of dishes. The service staff has always proven to be very prepared to answer all our questions or curiosities about the dish itself and this knowledge was not only the heritage of the waiter who brought the dish to our table and described it to us, but of all the staff who, even randomly, we stopped to ask for further explanation! The wine list was excellent from which we chose a Barbera d 'Alba by Bartolo Mascarello. But let 's get to the food. As entrees... and calling them entrees is definitely limiting! We were offered 2 wonderful tastings which unfortunately I cannot remember in their composition, but the first was a cream with carrot and rhubarb served in a mini terracotta vase, while the second appeared like a palette of colors where some fantastic raw materials sauces could be combined manually. My lunch then began with the Cantiam la montanara where, under a soft celery foam, there was a composition of green asparagus, spring onion and truffle on chopped borlotti beans. Fantastic dish, sublime with exceptional aromas!. I then continued with The navel of the world , a wonderfully plated dish where two types of rice are used, one as a base made with asparagus and watercress, and in the center a Venere rice cake finished on top with saffron almond cream . Finally I closed the lunch with a selection of 8 cheeses, some of which were truly exceptional, accompanied by jams/honey. Obviously the bill is in line with the proposal and with the experience. I must say that it was truly a pleasure and an honor."
