Impressive food and great service! We planned an easy dinner with colleagues which turned out to be such a remarkable experience. The chef came and talked in a very friendly manner with us. The food was so delicious and beautifully served. I'd recommend the Tartar...and the smoked salmon as well as the Creme Brule. Will definitely visit it again next time I'm in Alsace

We stopped in Wolfgantzen on our way to Neuf-Brisach where we discovered the Kastenwald restaurant, a real culinary gem! We were not even sure that there will be tables available because it was mother's day, but we were warmly welcomed! The food was an amazing...sight for the eyes and quite tasty. The service was fast, the waiter was very attentive and cordial, and the Chef came to our table to inquire about our meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Alsace region.
