We went for Sunday lunch with our three teenage grandsons four of us had carvery and the other had sausages chips and salad all enjoyed their meals it was very busy which only goes to prove how good it it is we intend to go back soon midweek when it might be quieter but pre-book and treat yourself

I had a family dinner at this restaurant, and while I enjoyed my meal, my wife unfortunately did not. My mother ordered the same dish, and they both found it to be quite dirty and lacking in flavor. On a positive note, there was a great selection of beers and apple wines, and the staff were lovely in this traditional pub setting.

We had lunch on Sunday, and I was impressed by how attentive and helpful the staff were, despite their youth. They were all very friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious! The menu was extensive, with plenty of options for both vegetarians and vegans, and they even offered smaller portion sizes. I had a ploughman’s plate that was fantastic. Great job, everyone!
