I visited with a friend at 6 PM and found it to be a popular spot. We enjoyed our meals, though the service could have been improved. Overall, it was still a pleasant experience.

had a good idea to use that I got from my son for christmas, so last Friday went with my friend. very enjoyed fabulous eating and beautiful atmosphere. waitresses were all very good and loved that they explained every product. will be definitiw back

The dining experience was enjoyable, and our server was very pleasant. We had a female waitress (I regret not asking her name) who was full of energy and likely Spanish, as she introduced our cold tapas in a very authentic manner. Still my favourite spots in the Ferry! Authentic Spanish tapas no fuss, just amazing food and great atmosphere. Dishes appear at your table, knowledgeably explained by the server. Amazing place. Vegetarian options: Excellent veggie (and vegan! alternatives for every meat dish. Dietary restrictions: Your server will ask you for these at the the beginning and convey any requirements to the chef no hassle, no stress. They know how to adapt everything.

This is my fourth visit to Sol y Sombra—my first as a vegetarian and the last three as a vegan. They offer an amazing set vegan menu that is diverse and offers great value. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Each dish is thoughtfully crafted with impressive attention to detail. I would have rated it 5 stars, but Happy Cow limits vegan-friendly restaurants to a maximum of 4 stars. I will definitely return time and again. Is this Dundee's best restaurant?

I had a wonderful experience at this tapas restaurant, which features a dedicated vegan menu. I was dining with non-vegan friends, and the staff were fantastic at explaining my dish when the first course arrived, ensuring that my meal stayed separate. However, the second course was a bit chaotic, as everything was served at once, and it took some time to sort out which dishes were mine. I had to check with the kitchen a couple of times for assurance. Overall, the food was delicious, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was vibrant!

went in this restaurant recently with some friends who are omni. the Vegan Set menu ordered, and was very pleasantly surprised both about the amount and quality of the offer. had made a similar amount of food available to the omni plates, with each dish clearly thought and effortfully put into their presentation and taste. special highlights for me were a fungal and tomatensalat, a beet salad and the carburized spear with vegan chorizo and different veg. real feeling that I have valued my money without the vegan option feeling like a think-up as it can be on many others!
