"I can only evaluate the Afternoon Tea offered by Sophia, but not in the actual restaurant, but in the Lobby Lounge The Library . Since I was not aware of this, I contacted the locals for my reservation. I was then referred to the colleagues in the library. There I was kindly greeted and could choose between two places. After my reservation, the table was already covered for one person. The Afternoon Teatime is a piece of London tradition in the middle of Munich between Central Station and Old Botanical Garden. According to the 5* hotel level, the library is also high quality and equipped. Although the library is an open part of the lobby, you sit here very nice and quiet. No trace of hectic. And according to the level, the service is also very professional, attentive and yet reserved. The Afternoon Tea Time is offered from Friday to Sunday from 14 am to 6 pm. The food was very nice served on one floor: a selection of homemade sandwiches and Petit Four as well as freshly baked Scones. The sandwiches tasted very good. The Petit Four were also good for me, but the whole way too sweet. However, the Scones were quite different than I know from other English locals. They came to me more like a big cookie and tasted like that. The included Clotted Cream and the Marmelade were delicious. Not bad, but no scones yet. You can choose between hand-picked Jing tea varieties – I chose the in-house tea blend Rocco Forte Afternoon Blend. I'm not the tea expert now, but the tea tasted very good. A 3-minute watch is included for the ideal drawing time. The tea is included and you can drink as much as you want. The tea time arrangement costs 38 € not exactly cheap, but as a special experience as well as for the ambience and the food offered it was okay. I don't do that every day."
