"During my infrequent visits to see the family I always make a bee-line for the British Queen, see prevoius review. My sister booked a table for a meal 2 days in advance. When we arrived even earlier than we said we would, we were told we hadn't booked and there were no tables left. Upon looking at their booking in book her reservation was there. Sorry they said. We should have gone elsewhere as it turns out, but they rearranged the tables and fitted us in. After ordering almost every table was on their dessert or had left before we got anything to eat. Two of us has the roast of the day and it was apparent we got the trimmings although the veg was recently cooked and nice. Two of us has the last of one of the puddings and by this time we were the only ones present. My pudding was under-heated. When going for the bill nearly 2 hours after entering I had no idea how it was broken down because I was only told the bottom line.I wonder why?"

Went with family for a christmas day drink. Pub was full but staff very quick to serve and make sure everyone was enjoying themselves. Hope they all had a fab rest of Christmas Visualizza piatti

Just popped in for a drink on Mother's Day and met the fabulous Theresa behind the bar.... Love her! Chris, with his dog Ollie, is a regular.,. Also hilarious! We shall definitely return for laughs and food! Xx

I would not recommend bringing children to this restaurant. The staff were very rude and strict about the children staying seated. The food was cold and the service was rude and disappointing. Additionally, the beer was watered down. Overall, I will not be returning to this establishment.

I went here with my cousin for a light lunch. The staff, bar staff and manager, were very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was one of the best I have seen. People talk to you and are friendly. Excellent customer service staff went above and beyond for my little one offered to do its dinner prior so it can cool down . Bar staff were extremely helpful with him setting up his high chair. Food was excellent would go back there again. Plenty of parking spaces cleanliness inside and outside the building . Wheelchair free Access there also catering for most dietary requirements I notice on the menu

The locals at this restaurant created a hostile atmosphere that made me feel very uncomfortable and unable to relax. The women inside were dancing around and giving dirty looks, while a man outside accused my partner of stealing his phone. It's a shame because the pub itself is nice, but the unfriendly locals make visitors feel unwelcome. After living here for 30 years, I have been warned by several people that this pub is not welcoming, so I will be avoiding it unless I want a confrontation. I will stick to Dinkum, which is much more welcoming.
