I had Sunday lunch with my family at this restaurant and we received a warm welcome and efficient service. The seating was perfect and the food was exceptional, including options such as lamb dinner, turkey dinner, nut roast, and non-meat alternatives. The desserts were delicious! We will definitely be coming back again!

Our conservation group celebrated Christmas and our 30th anniversary with a fantastic lunch for 16 of us at The Half Moon. Marcus and his team were extremely welcoming, and we all enjoyed a variety of dishes from the menu. The pies, fish and chips, and sea bass were all cooked to perfection and beautifully presented, and the desserts were irresistible. Everyone mentioned that they would definitely return individually.

After a day exploring York, we stopped by this lovely pub. It has a beautiful and inviting ambiance, and all the staff were friendly and polite. The warm atmosphere truly added to our experience. The food was fantastic, and I would definitely recommend visiting here. I only wish we lived closer, as this would be our favorite local spot! We give it 5 stars! Myself and my other half picked this pub after one we were planning on eating at was shut. It turned out that it was one of their two steak nights. Two steaks and a bottle of wine for £40. The steaks were cooked to perfection, the portion sizes were bang on and the food came out very quickly. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. Since neither of us drink alcohol, we asked if it was possible to get the drinks for free instead of the bottle of wine. We had 2 rounds of juice and to our surprise the second round was free too! The dessert was delicious and we left feeling we had a good quality meal at a bargain price. Would 100% recommend. Visualizza piatti
