Lovely relaxing pub..pleasant bar staff...really chilled outside garden area. Tucked away in Woodstock. Town so pretty equals France especially with this amazing 2018 weather !

Lovely location close to the beaten path but just off same to give you a sense that you are away from it all. Had a lovely lunch in the garden. They serve simple Pub food which we found to be good.

The Kings Head was chosen because of mostly positive review. A lovely welcoming atmosphere when entering the pub. Very pleasant and helpful bar staff and locals who advised on the best pint. I was offered samples and chose a beautiful pint of London Pride.

With 2 friends and ourselves my wife and I booked in for Sunday lunch assured that they served fresh vegetables and good home cooking. When the food arrived the plates were cold the vegetables were frozen and the potatoes were of very poor quality. All 4 of us left half to three quarters of each meal. It was disgusting.
